It's a social (i.e., party) because everybody who's online plays against each other! Everybody sees the same grid at the same time. At the end of each 2-minute game, you find out how well you did against your competition. Word Social uses the Elo rating system to mathematically calculate a rating for you based on who you play and how well you do against them (i.e., if you win or lose). I don't know why this game isn't more popular. It's the best b0ggle game out there. Play in real time against everyone else who is currently playing - it's awesome! And if you don't want to sign in, you can play as a guest. So simple and fun. Tell your friends! Hint to the developers: the option of a 5x5 board with a 4-letter minimum would enhance this already awesome app.
