Great game if you like to lose.

This game runs smoothly. It’s very impressive, actually. But don’t try to fight any hostile aliens. Unless you are lucky enough to find all the right equipment, any hostile aliens you encounter will blow you to bits. And even if you can find the best weapons and the best shields, you still might be blown to bits. And that’s on the “Less” setting of Enemy Strength! I shudder to think what would happen on any higher setting. Edit: This game easily could have been one of the best games on the App Store. But it’s so unbalanced it’s ridiculous. It’s like playing chess where you have one queen (if you’re lucky) and your opponent always has two or three queens. Edit #2: I must unfortunately reduce my rating down to two stars. If more than two screens pop up at once (and it does happen), the game will freeze. Nothing I could do would unfreeze it. So the game in progress is lost. No fun playing a game when a bug can pop up and erase everything you’ve accomplished so far.

Great game if you like to lose.

This game runs smoothly. It’s very impressive, actually. But don’t try to fight any hostile aliens. Unless you are lucky enough to get all the right equipment, any hostile aliens you encounter will blow you to bits. And even if your ship is well-equipped, you still can be blown to bits. It’s ridiculous. And that’s on the “Less” setting of Enemy Strength. I shudder to think what would happen on a higher setting. On edit: There's another problem. If for some reason the game closes, all of your current game’s progress is erased. This has happened to me a couple of times. It’s very frustrating.

I MUST like this game...

... because I had to buy it on iOS/Apple store twice. Once, in 2014, from ASTRAWARE, and then again a couple of days ago, from Simisen Interactive. I wonder who I'll get to buy it from next? Hey, Steam has it, and its sequel, Infinite Space III: Sea of Stars. I think I'll spend ANOTHER $10 there, on those. It IS a pretty good game, though. Better, if you only had to buy it once.

Great game with only one flaw.

I’ve been enjoying playing this since my university days back on PC and it’s always been a fun, roguelike game to quickly pass the time (typical round for me is 10 min or less). My one complaint and request to the devs is to please either fix or remove the function to rename planets. Regardless of whether I am using my phone or tablet, the moment I accidentally tap anywhere near a planet it brings up the rename function and that causes the whole game to crash and exit. It’s very frustrating especially when it’s further in the game and your near completion only for it to crash because you tapped on the screen to close to a planet, which on a smaller iPhone like a mini that I have, happens a lot. Minus that one consistent fatal bug, the rest of the game is fantastic and this is such a good port that I enjoy it better then when it was on PC, great job 👍.

Too small on iPhone

A simple game, but fun nonetheless. Go to an unexplored planet, find an item, upgrade your ship, occasionally have a combat encounter, repeat. Sadly, one big issue keeps me from enjoying the game: on an iPhone, the text and buttons are MICROSCOPIC. So much so that it hurts my eyes. I’m sure it would work great on an iPad, but the iPhone version needs some major rescaling.
