The Guardian “It proves that you don't need tens of millions of dollars and hundreds of staff to make a game story worth telling, just a good hook, an engaging vision, and a whole lot of heart.” 9/10 – Destructoid "Thomas Was Alone is a winning piece of minimalist game design that manages to do a lot with a little in an industry which far too frequently achieves the exact opposite, and it deserves much praise for that." 8/10 - Official Playstation Magazine Key Features: ** Experience the BAFTA winning, million selling game from creator Mike Bithell ** A minimalist game about friendship and jumping ** 100 levels, one immersive journey ** Award winning story narrated by Danny Wallace ** Includes FREE new ‘Benjamin’s Flight’ level pack, giving you more story and 20 additional levels to play through with young Benjamin, who goes in search of the Fountain of Wisdom aided by his father's incredible invention. Played this game for maybe an hour or two every night
I beat it in about 3 weeks including the extended levels. Challenging at some points. You absolutely have to take a break in order to get past certain levels. Its fun and kept my attention. Worth the money when you want something to do and relax. I would recommend this game to everyone and everyone.
Can’t Open the App
I can’t open this app! I really want to play it but it keeps telling me that the app was damaged and to redownload it but its not working.
I love love love this game
please make more!!!
Update is terrible
Love the game but the update is unplayable. They need to play on the “puzzle hard” aspect instead of “hitting the space bar repeatedly” aspect.
A bit buggy
Nice idea but hangs up often. My grand children liked it but no longer play it as they get stuck in the same spot every time. Maybe this game is not intended for play on Mac’s?
Really wonderful so far!
Teriffic narration and visual style, lovely game all the way around… Dinged it a star for not having Retina Display support though. Would love to see the in an update!
Very Simple, Yet Very Engaging and Fun!
This game is really great! The storylines are rich, and Danny Wallace does an AMAZING job narrating. The music is very ambient and nice to listen to, and the flat design with long shadow physics make the graphics simple, but really nice. I never thought the company that made Surgeon Simulator would make something this nice for me. Oh yeah, and some people couldn’t navigate the menus, use the spacebar with the up and down keys!
