I'm not really a fan of point and click adventures. I try to play them without cheating and finding a walkthrough on the internet but that usually lasts about 5 mins. What makes this game playable for me is the awesome artwork and the amazing world that is created in this game. It also has a corny, but entertaining sense of humor. If you want to try something different download this game and give it a try, even if you use a walkthrough.

This is a great game for point & click adventure games. A lot of the puzzles require creative thinking, but are relatively commensense. The game is funny, and looks beautiful. Best game I've played in months.

Some of the bits do fall flat, but those that work are laugh-out-loud funny, especially if you're familiar with the standard adventure game conventions. The puzzles are also hit or miss. Some of them are the most clever we've seen in an adventure game in quite some time, while a few follow the typical illiogical patterns that drive adventure game enthusiasts insane…there's just no way you could've figured that out with random trial and error and plenty of wasted time. But all that's acceptible when a game works as well at The Next BIG Thing. The graphics are great, the presentation is fantastic, the story is fun, and the characters are engaging. Definitely one to get, even at $30. Also, I never had a single problem with the game crashing.

This game looks awesome. The reviews I'd read on the "lite" version didn't deter me. I don't mind spending 30 bucks on a game, and I love point n click adventures. I'm obsessive about them. Too bad this game literally crashes when I open it, every single time. I've never been able to open it. I even tried deleting and re-installing it 3 times and it still doesn't work. Now it's a wasted 30 dollars, entirely. That actually bugs me. The only requirements listed are OSX 10.6, and I'm running 10.6.8 on a MacBook. Should work, right? I contacted their tech support as of today. Unless this clears up, I stick by this review, since all I have to review is a busted game.

I played the 1.1 version on hollywood but it gets hard. I still think it's fun though. I would have said 4 stars but the price was way to high!!!!!!!!
