I played and absolutely loved the first game! And I’ve only just started the second game. I love the beginning featuring the Asposian with a southern drawl which is an AMAZING comparison to “rallys” in the southern US spewing falsehoods to rile folks up in order to persecute others that are not like them. Great spin on reality!

The sequel definitely stood up to its predecessor. The story was a smooth continuation from the first game without feeling contrived or forced. Gameplay was equally smooth and the art of the game was still beautiful, from the environments to the voice acting. My only disappointment is the length of the game. I expected it to be longer than the first, especially given the slightly higher price tag, but they were comparable in length. In fact, the first game felt longer - I wasn’t able to sink into this one as fully - but the puzzles were at least on par with each other.
