Souce = Programming Functions
I, being a programmer, love that fact that the source is indeed the in game scripts. That fact that you can see the program executing while you're casting a spell is insane. And because I figured out that the meditation spell is simply a while loop calling an "ia" function, I can write my own spells in the source book! That being said, it would be nice to be able to view the functions outside of the casting graphic (there's a "show" menu option in the source menu, but it does nothing), and it would be nice if I could copy/paste or save off scripts I write. And it would be good to toughen up the syntax parser, to make sure the game doesn't crash from bad syntax (but then again, you probably didn't know someone would be testing the limits of the parser :) ) Otherwise, haven't played much of it yet, and I already love it. :)
My view
When I bought it, I thought it had potential. Upon actual gameplay though, it's sort of confusing at first because when you cast spells, you get jumbled text instead of a spell graphic. Moving around is slugish and sometimes just a bit frustrating. The story line isn't that bad, but there aren't a lot of clues as to what you are actually supposed to be doing. Perhaps they can hire some english speaking staff members to help clear up the conversations and such at which point I'd raise it a star.
Beautiful Game!
Good Graphics, Awesome Music, Nice game play, Unique Battle system what more can you ask for?! Its a beautiful Masterpiece! This is a must buy!
Not bad at all
I really wasn't expecting much out of the game but the broken English isn't too bad and the gameplay is actually a really cool concept. Sure the graphics arn't the best but if they were any higher I most likely couldn't play it on this old 3G phone. Battery drain is a little excessive but for what it is it's great!
