Tales of Radiance

Well I fell for them again, R2 is a horrible company, every game they have made so far up to day has went out of business.. I’ve been playing their stuff since Shards of Magic where I invested heavily, probably around 1700$ or so because I enjoyed the game until one day without warning all the servers shut down and they were quitting updates on it, then released the “sorry guys but we don’t want to continue on this game” which half of all that money was gone, if it weren’t for apples generosity in refunding it to me. Which brings us to here been playing Tales of Radiance for around 4 months now games been out for a little while I’m aware but all of a sudden bam “we’re discontinuing this game servers will be shut down on Jan 25th” yet another game of theirs they just can’t keep up. I’m assuming it’s part of a cash grab tactic to make a game take as much money as they can and then as soon as the numbers start going down the scrap the game and start another one instead of actually working at the game to make it more interesting and better. But knowing they made a horrible decision to create a game in the spitting image of Elora’s Raid they did it anyway and they had to shut down because more people played Elora’s raid then Tales of radiance, anyway don’t give these greed bags any of your money for your own safety, they’re more then likely to shut their next game down in about a year as well to start another one.

This is probably the best idle game that I’ve played and I’m quite sad to see it sunset. The game doesn’t die that quickly and keeps players engaged with reasonable scaling and grinding mat requirements. Other games I find it quite easy to get to a point where getting items/new characters is so difficult because the and of time it takes to grind for those mats exponentially grows too quickly, however tales of radiance keeps it reasonable and keeps players engaged with new content and other reasons to keep coming back. There’s so many good things about this game and I’d like to thank the devs and all the other players for the great community i found while playing this game. I hope to see you all on other games :)

This was a fun game while it lasted, unfortunately this game is no longer getting any updates and the existing player base has moved on. There are so few players, most weeks you can’t even do playoffs, or guild wars... please just shut this game down.

This game is probably one of the best RPG games in my opinion, but there’s just one thing; the chat. I really think that because you can talk to random people online should make this game 12+. Another thing, kind of the same, the X-server is pretty 17+, if not than 12+ at least. I’ll state some of the phrases here, word for word; “juicy balls baby,” “girl those are some boobs,” “have you ever vibrates your anus?” Etc. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t find this very appropriate for a 9+ game. Anyway, thanks for reading this and stay safe!

The last time they do anything with the game is about a year ago. Every week is the same event over and over. If you want the same game, go try Elora’s Raid - they updated every 2 weeks/month. This game used to be fun but it dying. There are about 50 server in the game and each have only 1-2 player active.

I have seen this exact game many times before with many different names. Not sure who made the game first. Another reason i give it 1 star is because i have seen what these developers can do with the game “shards of magic” and this game is a disgrace in every way when compared to their masterpiece. (They actually removed the game from all app stores which just adds to the insult)
