It's perfectly fun, but be warned that this isn't really a flight simulator. all of the controls are limited to being confined to pitch, roll and yaw the plane by only a few tens of degrees in each axis, and it's artificially hard to crash/stall/roll any of the planes

I found a lot of the simulations to be fairly accurate and thus, rewarding to an experienced pilot. I don't recommend using a wireless keyboard, however as it has some limitiations and some lag time. Corded keyboards will work better and faster. No instructions and very few hints make it a difficult simulator for non-pilots in particular. You have know your air craft to guess at things like stall speeds and there is no cockpit instrumentation. I stumbled into a cockpit view from the 747, I have no idea how that happened !? It took me about 4 hours to get to Level 25. The acrobatic flying was the most difficult. When you roll the plane, it pitches up and when you loop it, the images disappear for a while. Trottle settings don't have to change to do a loop, but you need to reduce it for downhill racing. I had to guess about what was the object or goal, other than flying a mission without crashing. I can see there are time trials, too. You have to be a little inventive at times, like learning to dive into the water perpendicular to the flight path in the forest fire scenes. Also, water bombing doens't work from too low or too high. These are hints that aren't obvious. I fly about 1000 feet AGL most of the time, but it's fun to skim the ground a lot, too. It's an App. It won't show up on your desktop or dock - you have to go to Launchpad. I rated it a 3 out of 5 because it lacks a manual or user guide, references, and because it's still buggy. It did hang on me several times, but I was able to wake it up. There is an accelerator (R key).

Very good for the price. Terrific artwork and aircraft models. The scenery is basic but adequate. Operation is smooth and forgiving. I have the desktop version and use the keyboard, but I had to guess at the keyboard controls - where is the key control map?

I have been playing this game for about 3 months now. The campaigns (missions) are well organized and challenging. You will need to purchase your planes with the play money earned flying your missions which pays very very well. There are a couple of campaigns I flew several times over and over because they pay a lot of money, enough to buy commercial planes and the amazing fighter plane. I experiences absolutely no glitches on any plane at any time and I am using a MacBook Air which is pretty basic in resources. This game is PERFECT for my limited computer and no controller. It plays perfectly with the keyboard just using the keys. The view of the Hawaiian Islands and being able to play in free mode and land at any airport on any island is amazing!!! I’ll give you some advice. To be able to land and take off on small airports with a huge commercial jet and a short runway, simply start with the breaks ON when taking of until the plane begins to jolt forward, then release the break and go full throttle. You take take off on the smallest runways. IThe WATER planes are amazing and water landingd are a blast. In campaign mode you get to use your water plane to skim the ocean, fill your water reserves, and fight forest fires. The ONLY campaign I have not beaten yet is the racing planes. The controls and manouverability is just too fast for me to beat. Stiill working n it. I love climbing to 25,000 feet. I LOVE how each and every plane has it’s unique max speeds, altitude, and manouverability, I LOVE how you can upgrade technical perameters of each plane, I LOVE the free flight, the campaigns, and the world flight to land planes and take off all over the world. So much is packed into this seemingly simple game. What a well thought out game. If you just want to take off and fly to your favorite Hawaiian Island, you MUST buy this game. By the way, you can actually land a plane where there is NO airport and long as the laws of gravity, air speed, and landing procerure are applied. In fact, I have even successfully completed my own water landing of a commercial airliner. I got bored and wondered if it was possible. If you do it right you can crash land on the ocean with a successful water landing. Keep the nose up nd the flaps to full. Good luck. Thanks creators for so many hours of fun!!!
