Great Roguelite
The mechanics for this are deceptively simple, building up to make lots of interesting choices and playstyle. I like how the two characters have very different feels and each has their own varied styles to play. The game is very challenging, I’ve only gotten to the final chapter a couple times and only with one character, but it’s been quite fun (challenge is a feature of roguelite/like games). My biggest gripe is that it clearly was translated into English and a handful of the cards can be challenging to understand due to some strange translation choices. There are a few mechanics that are confusing until you play them a few times to figure out what the card text means or you identify its patterns. For example the duration of abilities or how often they trigger isn’t always clear. It makes it seem inconsistent, but I suspect this would be remedied by more clear card text. Overall a fun little game worth the $4 to unlock the full game. I hope they add more cards, characters, or play modes in the future!
Fun but needs work
This game is good fun, but there are a few issues I see with it so far. 1) I paid to unlock the full game, but the game doesn’t seem to save progress on it. If I get out of the game for more than a few minutes, everything is gone. Not sure what’s up with that, but it’s really frustrating because I rarely play games for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. Then next time I try pay I have to start over. It’s making me regret buying it. If I wanted to just play the first level over and over I could’ve done that without buying the full game. 2) The English translation is pretty bad. One of the cards reads “deal 4 damage for each exiled card 0 times.” What does that even mean? 3) This game desperately needs a glossary to explain the terms. I can’t figure out how some of the cards really work, and there are no instructions anywhere. A glossary of terms would help immensely. If they fix the first item, I’d give it 4 stars because the game seems like a lot of fun. The fact that it’s fun is the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one. The devs have a potential hit on their hands, but they need to address these items. UPDATE 14-March: The latest update (installed today) seems to have introduced more bugs than it fixed. It’s super buggy. The game has locked up several times since updating, where nothing responds and only option is to kill the app, meaning you have to start your current combat over. A number of cards don’t seem to work properly anymore (for instance, Tug of War says “2+ Fear: Root and push the target back”, but it no longer does both. If it pushes the target back, it doesn’t Root them. It only Roots them if they were already on the back row.) The list goes on. The game seems to get buggier the farther you advance. On area 4, all kinds of weird things are happening. Sometimes cards don’t Discard when Lucas has Fear. It asks you what you want to discard but the. Does t do it. The list of issues goes on; I just didn’t log them all. Please fix this. This game would be tons of fun if it worked right.
I have an issue to report
The artifact Eternal Shield is not working properly for me. It says “retain shield between turns,” but it’s only letting me keep 10 shield at maximum. Also the artifact Takeaway Meal isn’t working. Overall it’s a fun game, very good looking. But a lot of balance issues with combat in the current build of the game

Game crash
It crashes directly after I collect the first card after the first tutorial battle, the concept is good and the cards are interesting though.

Monetization
This games monetization feels predatory. It doesn’t show how much the things cost in game.
