This is my absolute favorite game, on the app store or otherwise! I was not dissapointed! The colors and visuals are breath taking, especcially for an 8 bit video game. The soundtrack i actually have saved on my spotify and listen too all the time, the style of music fits exactly with the visual style, complimenting eachother well. Don’t get me started on the story! It’s so simple, and complex at the same time. I love how you and the main character aren’t exactly one together, but are not two separate entities either. The whole thing was absolutly amazing, and i recomend it to every one! Please support this game bc we need more like it!

I guess Apple does not give app refunds? I have been a customer since the Mac App store opened and have bought many apps. This is the very first time I felt thast I deserved a refund but from the support page it looks as if I am stuck. This is really a gosh-awful and incredibly bad game. First what attrracted me was the “retina” graphics. Like, OMG, it uses blocky 8-bit retro graphics but sure enough the edgesof the blocky figures are real smooth. I guess you could say the backgrounds are retina but they are not at all intricate or eye-catching. The game “play” is totally withoiut any interesting merit. The conversations are amongst or even the worst written that I have ever seen in a commercial game. Movement is slooooooooooooow. I have played, I admit, only ten minutes. But they’d have to pay me by the minute to go back to this thing.

After learning about this game, I was quick to buy it. I can assure you that this game is a good buy. Note, this game is a very relaxed yet sometimes intense game. In some cases, the player can be a little frusterated if they forget what they are supposed to do. The music is perfect, I reccomend buying the soundtrack so you are familiar with the certain jams. A very interesting plot, and it's like no other game I've played before. The price of the game is in the ball-park of what I would rate it. For a nice peaceful game like this, the price is just about right. An interesting part of the game that I found was very intriguing was the "backstory". I won't give anything away, but in one of the soundtracks, there is a phone number said in a demonic voice. If you call that number, you may get a veirety of different strange messages. Really interesting, in my opinion. Lots of mystery is shrouded around this game. Overall, very good. Worth the money.

I was a little hesitant to buy the game after reading some of the more negative reviews, but I bought it anyway and I was not disappointed! Critics of the game say that it is too short and there isn't a lot of action, this is a pretty true statement but it did not bother me. The storyline is sweet but simple, there is not a lot of "action" per se, but if you enjoy going on quests and solving interesting puzzles with little direction this is the game for you! I really think the graphics are beautiful, I loved the pixelated style, and the soundtrack sets the tone perfectly for every environment. It is really more of an experience than anything, and that's something I can truly appreciate.
