Its waste of time i played the game and some strong player that have 14villages attack and capture my 2villege after that i got nothing and even i cant get back to where i was before and idont have enough time to build another village i think the fact that you lost your village is not heartwarming.

I started playing Stronghold years ago on my pc. It became my favorite game. No other game out there matches the castle & world building like Stronghold. I’m now playing on my iPad but it’s still GREAT. As someone said, don’t skip the tutorials. It’s very involved, so don’t get discouraged. There are many YouTube videos to help. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do.

At first glance one can see a detailed visual experience and the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is the monthly premium cost is $7.99 and not waaaaay overly priced like many other games. However, one doesn’t have to look to much deeper to realize that that is about it. The game looks really nice and well laid out. The interface though has no such attention to detail. Zooming in and out or using the slide bars(no option to type in qualities… (very outdated user interface…) are very inaccurate. They don’t allow a smooth transition to pinpoint where you want the settings. So you are ether zoomed in or out just to much or you can’t get the exact number of goods you want to send off… To add to that the game is very laggy and will crash from time to time. Now this is a long term strategy game that is very slow paced. Even if you spend money, you won’t get boosted enough to make a long term difference. So having the option to drop $99 in one go is disgusting. More so when they aren’t providing professional performance in the game. No this game is clearly a side job project to sucker people into wasting their hard earned money instead of generating an honest income… 1 star is more than generous but I will give it the benefit of the doubt and try to wait for the next update to see if performance is better addressed.

The game is really nice for this style of game play. The main issues though is that the game will say things like I have more scouts than I do or when gathering my scouts disappear completely loosing them even though I didn’t send them to scout anything dangerous. The game crashes a lot for me and is very laggy, often having to click on thing more than once to get them to work. And the games takes waaaaaay to long to even load just to n and play. Sorry but 1 star is generous for all the issues this game has to offer.

If you want to play this game daily you better be prepared to pay at least $30.00 dollars a day for just one research move alone and that’s all you can do this game is the worst game ever made, offers you nothing for the money they expect you to pay….. trust me you will see….and if you decide to download and play without paying….you will wait days, I mean days to see anything change or accumulate….it will be a game that you will forget to play…... unless you PAY!!!!!…..the worst!!!!
