good game but bad programming
It's clearly intentional that this dev wants you to pay to have a permanent energy upgrade because 20 times in a row. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.I have been hit with -2 energy from having to pay earned money in the game to evaluate my energy level. That is a crock. if you're paying rather than skipping the energy evaluation then you should have a better chance to improve your energy level especially if you're doing other things like being healthy and eating good food. Nothing in the game is directly seem connected to one another. which makes it an awful life Sam except for the dev of wanting IAP money to push the energy level.

Absolutely no way this game has a 4.8 rating when it is almost impossible to accomplish the goals of this game. I raised all of my skills AND STILL couldn’t sell to a publisher. I tried and tried. I created videos, posts etc and sold at most 30 books a week over several years. I was so excited about this game, just to be let down.

I love this game, and have been able to progress far in it. But occasionally, there is a bug where, if I accept a book proposal, then close the app, the proposal remains in the “Publisher” inbox tab. Unsure if it went through, I accept it again, and end up with two of the same book (albeit with different starting word counts). I finish the book and turn it in, and the stats in the “Publisher” tab changes to progress onwards, but the other version of the book remains, and I am unable to get rid of it. I am able to still mess with it, like renaming it and adding words, but as the publishing request has already been filled, I am unable to “publish” the book again.

Overall all the developers games are great. The one thing I would like to have added/changed would be how agencies, labels, funds, publishers, etc work. Meaning, we can often create our own “agency” in all the games, but it’s rather limited. The first suggestion would be to remove the office capacity limit for business, company, agency, label, etc. Allow for 50, 100, 500, etc employees—there should not be a limit. Think about it, we are growing billion dollar businesses—they need employees; 10 employees cannot run a multi billion dollar company. Next would be for players to be able to take on as many authors, clients, artists, etc as we want. Just like for the number of employees, I’m not sure why this is limited. Allow our employees to actually do the work we would normally do. Let them train, coach, mentor our artists, authors, etc. Players should not have to manually train up and spend energy on dozens of NPC’s—we don’t have enough energy to do so which results in our employees, artists, authors, etc losing stats, decreasing skills, and just becoming bad NPCs. Also allow for the player to really take care of their employees so their happiness or energy doesn’t decay. Add in various options for sorting. Be that by song revenue, books sold, etc—give options to sort and view our progress. For Movie Star, allow for players to fund, direct, AND also act in their movies For Music Star, our Artists happiness and stats get killed if you don’t train them and there is not nearly enough energy for 50 artists. Add in some sort of “overkill” option for office morale and space (number of employees). Players with billions of dollars should be able to solve their problems (low morale/production) with money, and have enough employees to keep their billion dollar company running. TLDR: Remove the limit on the number of employees that can be hired. Remove the limit on the number of clients, artists, authors, etc that our business can work with. Add “end game” options to “The Office” tab for employee morale that costs a lot of money, but basically keeps them happy and productive 100% of the time. Allow employees to do the energy spending tasks players cannot afford to do—let them train, mentor, etc so we can better focus our limited energy elsewhere. Let us use our wealth to automate our companies
