Love this game!
I have played Magic a bit and Dominion quite a bit. If you understand Dominion or Magic, learning this game is easy. Really fun to play, digital or the card version.

I enjoy this game very much but it puts much too high an energy load on my new MacBook Pro. Even with the animations off and the resolution as low as I can make it and still see the screen, the energy drain is much too high and the fans are always going. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I have found at least two cards don’t do what the text on the card says it will do: Imperial Fighter, and the red card which says it mimics any other ship. Fix these and I’ll rate the app more favorably.

I play this game regularly on my phone, so I decided to try it on my Macbook. Even with the graphics turned down all the way it will drain my battery extremely quickly. Activity monitor reports an Energy Impact near 90.

Still rated in the top 100 board games of all time, this game is deceptively simple. It is actually deep enough to have tournaments with constant top players! The balance between how much money you get vs how much damage you deal, how many ships you buy vs how many bases you buy, and finally how often you go for the best individual card vs getting more of the same faction so they activate eachother’s secondary abilities, makes for a hell of a fun strategy game. It is a deck builder with a constant store of 5 cards to purchase, and that changes alot game to game and makes it so highly replayable, you will end up wanting to buy the real life card version [less than $15] to play with friends.
