After I made a purchase for some coins all my progress was lost when I went back to play

I really enjoy this game however I don’t like that if you exit you have to start all over again. I have finished levels and paused to do something then go back later in the day and I have to restart from the beginning.

I got to Passage and put the game down for a few hours. When I went back it start from beginning with none of my previous progress. There was no continue option. Played through again and then it wouldn’t take me to chapter 2 even though I finished all of chapter 1. Cool puzzles but too buggy. And after I finally got into Chapter 2 it reset to the beginning of chapter 1. All progress lost. I’m out.
