I decided to give this game a 4 instead of a 5 star. The game is really cute, love Marlowe, and it started out fun mystery. The but comes in unless you are spending money to continue on in the game and make progress it’s quite difficult to continue without doing so. The coins you collect doesn’t automatically add up throughout the day you have to keep checking every hour to collect coins. Sadly I will have to quite the game just to darn expensive to keep playing.

Developer’s may offer to help if you find the game requires money, but they obviously made the game to strongly encourage that. I don’t believe there are even many watch a commercial options. I’ve gotten to level 326, which surprises me. I thought I played almost a thousand levels before it got difficult In the least, but maybe it was closer to 100. For those first 100 levels, it’s interesting, but the game isn’t challenging. The matching can be fun and the storyline, though, so I kept going. As I was introduced to more and more ways they make a match solitaire game challenging, I slowly lost my coins. You can need coins for going back a turn, getting wild cards, getting five more cards, and getting a magnet that can grab all the visible cards of one suit. After level 250 or so, I found I went very slowly. I might win a hand or two, but I would frequently get stuck and didn’t have enough coins to get the extras that would let me continue until I won the hand. Right now, I’ve decided to play the game every week or so. You can get 300 coins each hour or so, if you keep coming back to the game. It also usually offers about a 1000 coins for returning the next day. So, if I return to grab those bonuses but don’t play, I can build up 10k coins or so to win at least a few rounds, probably more. That was my strategy, but they do have races. I couldn’t win 5 rounds to win the race, so I just spent $5 to get more coins. This does mean I’ll enjoy the game a while longer, and I’m fine with financially supporting a game I enjoy. For this game, though, I can easily see myself spending $5 a day or a week without really noticing. And, it’s not worth it. I’ve never been one to gamble, but that is what the game asks you to do each round. And, it has a number of other features to keep making it interesting. So, this can be a very addictive and very expensive game if you are not careful.
