Description
Global Cold War
Sigma Theory is a Turn-based Strategy game in a futuristic global cold war from the award-winning creators of Out There. Recruit a squad of special agents and run your intel agency to secure the control of the singularity.

STORY
In the near future, a paradigm-shifting scientific discovery looms over the world, promising radical new technologies. The world’s superpowers realize they could have the power to destroy the global financial system, wipe out entire countries or even gain access to immortality.

However, this discovery — called “The Sigma Theory” — can only be harnessed by a handful of scientists. You are placed at the head of your country’s Sigma division. Your objective is to ensure that it is your nation that reaps the benefits of Sigma Theory before anyone else.

To achieve this you will have powerful resources at your disposal: a cadre of the world’s most elite covert agents, advanced tactical drones and, of course, your own skills in diplomacy and subterfuge.

It’s a cold war out there, one in which mankind must face up to its future.

THE ULTIMATE ESPIONAGE SIMULATION
Turn-based espionage: Use your special agents to dominate the world. Seduction, blackmail, manipulation, industrial espionage… Every low blow is both permitted and encouraged.
Dynamic narrative: Develop and manage your relations with over 100 NPCs: lobbies, armed groups, politicians… Alliance, deception or assassination, you choose.
Field operations: Direct the kidnapping of your targets during gripping pursuits through the world’s greatest cities. Discretion or direct confrontation, your agent’s life is in your hands.

Fun Concept

The game is a decently entertaining, light strategy game. The 100+ npcs are barely characters and often have little deviation between stats and skills. The story is passable. Not sure I’d pay full price for this again, and feel that it advertised a depth not present in the game. Also, the RNG used in exfiltration missions is supremely awful.

Controller is Support 😊

This is a powerful, well woven masterpiece. See YouTube videos. Buy this game. Sigma Theory offers so many layers of • dialogue • game mechanics • strategies all these game systems flowing harmoniously to give you a wonderful and engaging experience. The UI is STUPID SIMPLE Therefore, how to go about doing stuff is brainless - as it should be! The challenge and stimulations come from the situations you will face. This game HAS controller support ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This is a bonus, so many lazy devs now don’t offer controller support. Because Sigma Theory offers controller support.. peep how I game: I play on my N-Real AR glasses (130’ screen) which are connected to my iPhone. I’m laying down in bed, head on my pillow, as my AR glasses project a 130’ screen in front of my eyes. All the while… My arms rest comfortably alongside me, each hand holding a Nintendo switch joycon - Bliss!

An Important Bug

I love the game. The more I learn the more interesting it gets. Like being able to interrogate captured spies. However, 99% of the time I try to open the window for my own country to review the spies, it will not stay open. It will just flash open and then close. And it seems to matter where I have the country positioned on my screen. It REALLY changes my ability to fully play the game and win. PLEASE fix this if it is a bug. (I’m using IOS on an iPad Pro) Thank You!

Great modern age cold war game

Only issue is the dlc is unavailable offline. Otherwise, it’s worth the $

Like Pandemic, But With Spies!

Very cool game, love the intricacies! Clearly well thought out and fun to play. At the moment, it tends to freeze during a turn (like you open up a meeting and you can’t close the character, or you have spies without missions, but you can’t select anyone). Hopefully, this all gets fixed with an update soon! Already bought the DLC. I can see where I’m going to be playing this a lot! (Please make a version of this game for the Infinity Table? I’d definitely buy it again there, it would be fun on a large tabletop.)
