"Shisen-Sho HD" is very simple puzzle game using mahjong tile! Have some game modes for your play time. "Endless" is very simple. Not limit time. not busy. "Time Attack" is exciting! Hurry! more faster use your eyes and brain! "Challenge" mode is like arcade game. Have life gauge and reserve tank. Special stage comes after every two puzzles cleared. Shisen-Sho detailed rules, please refer to the web page.
K unc
Frustrating when screen after screen comes up that you can't win. Can not undo plays and re-think strategy. When you typically lose 3 times as much as win, then the game becomes frustrating, not challenging. Players of all levels should be able to play.
Best Game Kudos!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of my favorite games. Developer is fast to respond to inquiries as well. The only thing I would like to see would be for the titles to drop when a match is made. This is the best game in it's category, hands down!!!!!!!!!!!
Meh
It's ok. It's very easy. Not bad, but not awesome. Tiles are nice but I wish there were more options and layers in the board. I prefer ShisenSho from Ta-Dah Apps on my Kindle Fire. (very strange for me to like anything on my Kindle better than my iPad but true...)
Needs hints for timed games
Needs a hint button for timed games. Yes, I understand that this is a strategy game and that it is difficult. However, when you have to stare at it blankly more than actually playing it, it is no longer a game; it has then become "art." And not very good art at that. Oh, and this art is way too expensive. Of course, I should have known that going in.
Simply fun
kwajkat has it right. The Great Wall game on the old Shanghai Greatest is the best game. This game is a good one, too. Maybe this dev will put out another Great Wall? Hint, hint. updated: Thanks for the improvements. The timed game is great. I appreciate a developer who keeps adding quality. Please consider a “gravity" mode as in Great Wall.....
Not bad, not great
This is a very simple game at it's core. This version is done well but the lack of a way to keep score limits the value. Add a timer and this would be in my rotation of time killing games for sure.
Simple and deep
The game takes less then a minute to learn, using the 'hint' early on is all takes to understand the mechanics of how to play. But it's got tons of depth and strategy and many hours of gameplay. Vastly superior to the traditional mahjong solitaire. An undo button and statistics would be nice, but the game is perfectly functional as is.
