perfect, but no longer supported
After recent update to OS Monterey the app won't open. Too bad, because it's a wonderful game.
it is blowing up
it loads and then it blows up. ive enjoyed this game for for years. too bad.
Fun app, but...
This is a fun app and is a great game to play to kill a few minutes on your computer, but… NO FULL SCREEN!? Really? This app hasn't been updated in a few years, and the lack of full screen with Big Sur should be an embarassment to the developer.
i have played this for years and still enjoy it.
i have sampled several mahong games. this is my favorite. i chose it because i find most of the tile sets lucious. i switch the tileset every game. i whish mobile age llc would offer more tilesets for the mac version. i would pay for more lucisousness. and, i have started to pay more attention to the fortunes. they give me good advice make me feel better. i want more.
Still my favorite of all the mahjong apps
I bought this little gem a number of years ago, and it's still my favorite of all the mahjong apps I've found for macOS (there's an iOS version too — same name — and I like that as well). Between the simply HUGE number of possible layouts available, the great range of tilesets (I love the "real mahjong tiles" on best of all), and the backgrounds to choose from, I really have no complaints for look, feel, and challenge level. If I feel like something light and fun I can choose a 20-odd tile layout. If I'm in the mood for a longer session, 140 tile layouts are available too. This app doesn't throw ads at you, and it's survived the transition to Mojave (10.14) with flying colors. And the fortunes are fun to read too. All in all, quite well done.
No Way To Turn Off Timing
This game looks nice enough, and I FINALLY found a decent looking tile. But my biggest gripe is that there is no way to turn off the timing. I’ve played Mahjong for years and never had a game that was timed. Why not have timing as an option?
background
Got this game since it said I could choose images from my photo album for the background but I only see the ability to choose the standard ones there is no where to choose any photos from anywhere else.
