Needs improvement
I would love to gives this game 5 stars for the graphics alone, but after playing it for a few months, it seriously needs some tweaks: 1. The computer does not recognize a stalemate condition when the same board positions are repeated three times in a row. Very frustrating! 2. Enable ability to resize the board. [This seems basic!] 3. The Easy setting is too easy with the computer making simplistic mistakes that only someone who didn’t know anything about chess would make. 4. Compared to the Easy setting, the difficulty of the “Normal” setting seems excessive. If “Easy” is level 1, then “Normal” is more like level 5. 5. Enable ability to drag pieces to position instead of having to first select the piece, and then its destination. [This, too, seems basic.] 6. Get rid of the superfluous “[player] will move first” banner. We made that selection before we started the game and already know it. Come on, developers, give us some tweaks and take this game from great looking to great playing!

The game is very inconsistent. There are lots of glitches in the program which makes the game frustrating. If the glitches were fixed the game would be great, but it isn't. I also can't delete it.

The graphics are gorgeous, but here are some suggestions for taking the game from good to great: 1. Enable ability to resize the board (come on, people, this seems basic!). 2. Enable ability to drag pieces to position intead of having to first select the piece, and then its destination. 3. Preserve the last used board position. It is annoying to have to reorient the board every time. 4. Get rid of the superfluous "[player] will move first" banner. We made that selection before we started the game and should already know it. 5. Enable ability to quit the current game without quitting the program. 6. The Easy setting is too easy with the computer making simplistic errors.
