This game was super stress free and pretty straightforward!! One of the only games where I’ve been engaged enough to finish every route and I can play in my free time (I have a short attention span). You might play a characters route more than once to get the right choices, but that’s the entire gameplay so I don’t mind. Comes with voices, epilogues, and bonus pictures!!

There’s a lot to say about this game but I do want to say first off that the pathways for each character is surprisingly engaging. Some of the text replies are rather nuanced as well, so the results aren’t quite as easy to expect. All the characters are very endearing, I do believe them to be distinct and well-rounded. Mild Spoiler Warning: The twists involving certain characters were sorta jaw dropping. Like, wow you guys managed to squeeze in some new perspectives into the game. Said characters may indeed be my favorites. Part of the immersion and realism is definitely the texting aspect and conservative use of actual scenes with the characters - it’s really like reading a book, eventually you fill in the blanks of the story and it creates a rather unique experience. I don’t play otome a lot so I don’t have much of a frame of reference, but I think this outdoes some of the fancier otome on the App Store. Small issues: - Maybe allow the player a chance to choose which characters to message, instead of having everyone start with the first three - some of the nuanced replies become confusing, as they are extremely synonymous to one another even with connotation (Ex: “Thank you are great,” and “Thanks to how great you are”) - the occasional mist understanding of the dialogue, sometimes I don’t quite comprehend what is being said -It would be nice to edit the profile picture silhouette to something else, maybe even allow customization for the profile pics of the guys responding - have scenarios where characters fight over the reader in group chats; group chats can easily allow the characters to feel even more fleshed out (having actual certain relationships to one another, as a few of their biographies are a little bit of ‘informed relationships” - tiny plot hole involving that certain unstable character p ; if they know where the reader lives, rejection only wouldn’t be a fitting resolution, but an extra “epilogue” surrounding this scenario would be nice to include - for one of the “twist” characters, the one that spends a day or two in the readers’ home, the narrative should be allowed to go all the way and make the relationship explicit romantic and not just implied —— It is an otome after all, if he’s included already, might as well go all the way (or give the option to go all the way) - a liiiittle more info in the guys’ biographies; they’re pretty bare and could use a little more personality - More characters. I love this game. This isn’t much of an issue but I need more characters anyways! Very impressed, oddly immersive, I may be obsessed and even upset that the fun had to end. Will recommend this to others if I can!
