It won’t work!
I got so excited to play this game because I’ve been playing Neopets for years now, like 19 years actually, and for WHO KNOWS what reason I CANNOT get past the login page! The very VERY beginning of simply opening and loading the app is as far as I can go then I get an error code 1223, cannot login or anything. Please tell me what’s wrong? Idk what else to do besides uninstall it and try again and again. If it gets fixed and I can play I will definitely change my rating and review. For now I’m very disappointed 🥺😭😔

Really happy they brought back Neopets. I play this game every night. And every day. Like clockwork. I really hope they fix it and update it soon. Mine says the server is closed currently so I can’t play.

I want this to be something it’s not so I’m a bit biased but I still enjoy it for what it is. There’s a level of storytelling here that I haven’t seen from neopets since the old (now inaccessible) plot comics. It’s something I’ve sorely missed and reminds me of the old Darkest Faerie game for ps2. I so badly want this kind of storytelling and that kind of wonder and adventure in a new console game and it deeply saddens me that this is what we got. That said, it’s good for what it is. I’m excited to see more of the story revealed and it’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for to keep my hands busy when I don’t have the energy for anything else. I’m not a huge fan of mobile games but I’m still content with this even if I do perceive it as having a lack of ambition or love there was definitely some care put into this game. Some care but not a lot. Edit: After losing my save data and no new updates or content for 10 months I’ve updated my rating to reflect this particular brand of disrespect to the consumer. It’s still a good time waster and something to keep your hands busy but it’s not worth spending money on if you can help it.
