Nanuleu is a real time strategy and tower defense game where you control a network of magical trees that need to survive and defeat the enemies that attempt to destroy them. In this game your only task is to plant, but while doing so you need to choose between expansion, resource acquisition and defense. Your objectives are to capture certain points on the map and destroy your enemies, before it is too late. The game features five different scenarios: First Contact, Invasion, Exploration, Counterattack and Remnants. **Second place winner of the Indie Game Maker Contest 2015.
Excellent but Abandoned
This is an excellent game, very pleasing to watch, listen to, and play. Beautifully simple, sadly this game has been abandoned and will not likely be updated. Oh well, so much potential lost.
Good game, wish there were more levels
Fully enjoyed it but it came to an end too quickly. If they released more I would probably buy them because I know that it is solid.
Simple and elegant, worth the price
Great game, challenging and interesting. I keep wanting to find something simillar and go back to play it every now and again. I doubt you would be disappointed for the price, hopefully there will be a sequel of some sort. Edit - 10-6-19 - Played through everything again, so much fun!
Beautiful and Fun
This game is well worth the price of admission, a lot of fun to play with great replay value. The interface at times can be a little clunky, and I wish the timing started after hitting "ok" to start a level since your score can be impacted, but those are just nits... the actual gameplay is fun given its simplicity, and the artistry is just beautiful. Once beaten, the game has limited replayability beyond trying to improve your best times, so keep that in mind.
Great game
Fun, challenging and addicting. My only caveat is the difficulty curve is too steep in the beginning and too flat at the end.
Minimalist but Complex
The graphics have a minimalist beauty, and the interface is a pleasure to use. The game elements are simple by themselves but combine to create very interesting strategic situations and puzzles. This is one of the most elegant minimal games I've seen in a while. I ran out of levels to play and I'm hoping to see new ones from the author!
Great game full of potential
I love this game. I've been looking a long time for something simple, clean, unique and full of strategy. However, there are limited levels and maps. I wish there was just a little more complexity and a lot more in the way different (or even random) maps. For the price it's a great game and kept me occupied for several hours, but without more depth, i'm not sure how much more I'll play it. That being said, i can still highly recommend this, and hope that the developers will add and expand on this game.
