Fun, imaginitive and original game, but has flaws
The game is quite enjoyable to play, but there’s a few flaws that prevent it from being a great game. First off, for something with as simple a concept as this game, it’s unacceptably taxing on the computer to play. Once you get to the 30th level or so, it grinds my 2014 13” MacBook Pro to a halt and becomes practically unplayable. Secondly, the mouse-based interface can become difficult sicne it’s tied to 45 degree angles, so moving the blocks is not horizontal/vertical but lower left to upper right. it would be great to be able to use the keypad instead and have the mapping adjusted accordingly. For a game that cost money, I feel like it needs these issues addressed/fixed to be worth a purchase. If you have a high-powered system, it may work better for you, and in that case, it’s a great game!
Relaxing and challenging
This game’s beautiful simplicity grows complex, though not too quickly.I had no problems running the game on a late 2015 iMac running macOS 10.12.3. Yes, it took up the entire screen. I don’t mind that at all since I don’t want the distraction of other tasks when I’m playing a game. I found it relaxing and enjoyable.
I don’t like apps that fill the entire screen
Enjoyable game so far, but I don’t like the fact that when I launch the game it fills the entire primary monitor, and blanks out my second monitor. This means that when I’m playing the game I can’t do anything else on my computer.
Doesn’t work
Looked like a relaxing game, in fact it’s so zen you just need to mediate and watch a frozen screen that never loads and can’t be closed (without force quit) to enjoy it. If however you wanted to actually play the game, you are out of luck because that part doesn’t actually work. I’ll give BorderLeap a week to fix it and then i’ll be asking for a refund. Also, note to BorderLeap, if you don’t want to see horrible reviews like this, have a real user support page and not a link that takes you to your blog with no contact information.
