MilkSnake is a new take on the classical snake game. It is played on the surface of various 3D shapes, such as a sphere, a torus and even a Möbius strip. It requires a decent graphics card! It will run on weaker hardware, such as the Intel GMA chipsets found in many MacBooks, but the graphics quality will be lower. There are a total of eight different levels, with several different visual and musical styles (by Ken "coda" Snyder), and several different difficulty levels, so it can be enjoyed by both inexperienced players as well as those looking for a challenge. You can also share your scores online on Twitter, or anywhere you can post links. Enjoy this gentle introduction to non-euclidean geometry!
A Rare Find
Genuinely fun gameplay. Soothing Music. Alluring level designs. I love playing in fullscreen with the UI toggled off. A screensaver based on this with a camera gently panning around would be fantastic! A+
Crashes computer
MacBook Air 2012 1.7 Core i5 4GB RAM No other programs running.. Milksnake pushes CPU in activity monitor to over 100% and my computer becomes completely unresponsive. I cannot even load the force quit screen. I am forced to hold down the power button and restart. It's only 2 bucks but that's 2 more bucks the dev got paid for something that crashes my computer when I use it.
Thanks for Xee and The Unarchiver!
Game is ✨shiny✨ 😀 Hope Xee gets a new icon someday, and eventually Retina support!
Thank you!

Knocked my socks off!
This game is so great that my socks flew right off my feet! Now I won't be able to go outside anymore!
Beautiful
It took me a bit to figure out how to load the different levels, because the game kept restarting me on the Sphere in Easy mode. The first three levels are simple straightforward shapes with ordinary textures and plain music. But then the interior surfaces of certain shapes enter the picture, the lighting models get inventive, the music takes a more ethereal tack, and suddenly things are a whole lot more interesting.
Awesome App
Great, fun game from the developer of The Unarchiver. Flawless execution. Would drool over a completely full-screen mode option, or maybe an AI that plays so that I can use it as a screensaver… in full-screen mode;)
