I can’t get past the opening screens. No game play whatsoever. I came back to the app store, which shows an update, but it just keeps swirling with no actual update happening. I’m so frustrated. UPDATED: I contacted Mumbo Jumbo and they told me there is a known issue with OS X. They indicated I should pursue a refund with Apple. DO NOT PURCHASE for your Mac.

This game is too rude to be allowed in the App Store. Please remove it immediately. IT CHANGED THE RESOLUTION OF MY DISPLAYS. I will not allow ANYTHING to do that. I have a 3 monitor set up, the main one is a true 4K display at 4096 x 2160 being driven by a Nvidia Titan card. This game attempted to reduce the resolution to 800 x 600 and then crashed, forcing me to reboot the system. NONE of my monitors can even go down to that resolution! Given how badly Luxor HD plays, perhaps Mumbo Jumbo should be banned completely until they learn how to actually code. I’m a very experienced Mac developer, so if you need help, I’m available.

Sorry I wasted the money. It’s unstable on OS X = freezes up for long moments. Slow and poor graphics. Go for the original! Update two days later: it just crashes now. And it is sometimes difficult to get out of it during the crash. That scares me, so I uninstalled it. Wish it worked. The one brief game I got seemed good but not for me until it’s fixed.

It’s one of the best games I ever played. Love it and downloaded it sight unseen. However, guys, PLEASE, fix the resolution/full-screen issue. It’s very annoying not to be able to resize the game window or to play with either a tiny window or one where the bottom of the screen gets cut away so you can’t see your points or the menu buttons. Please fix it.
