In the real game of risk the defense has the advantage because all ties on the roll go to the defense. If they would fix this problem I would give it 5 stars. Until ten 1 star.

This games was awesome. I quit playing for awhile but now you have to have an overwhelming numbers advantage to consistently win. Routinely a country with 1 or 2 armies defends against an attack with 8-12 armies. Happens more than half time.

The game is great if you are learning risk. But once you are semi competent you’d obviously want to increase difficulty. All of the AI is essentially the same and can be easily beaten until you reach reaper difficulty. This is where the game becomes tiresome and ridiculous. when you are in a position of strength and could easily win, the AI will then intentionally suicide itself and when questioned the creators of the game say that’s what it’s designed to do. So you want to start planning for that, and working on a strategy to play an AI that just has no strategy to win well then the game will begin to have cheating dice where the AI could have a ten troop advantage and come out 20 troops on top after attacking.

This game would be fun if it was even close to being fair. I have played this game for a long time and really enjoyed it but I finally had to stop. I don’t know what you did to it, but it is now a joyless, frustrating waste of time. Unless I start with an overwhelming advantage there is no way to win. You can’t strategize because the odds are so stacked against you. I just lost 4 battles with an over 20 to 1 army advantage. That should almost never happen once, let alone four times. I used to love this game but now it just makes me angry. Don’t waste you time or your money.

This game is so unbalanced as to be unplayable. Unless you start with a very advantageous map, you will get crushed. How can I consistently loose battles where I have a 4:1 or better advantage or the opponents win with even or worse numbers. This game aggravates me so much that my wife leaves the room if I attempt to play it.

Waaaay better than solitaire and the added maps are awesome. The game certainly shows why “you should never attempt a land war in Asia”

- Better behaviour resuming games in the middle of Fortify mode. - Fix an AI crash bug when resuming Biohazard games. - Fix the Biohazard map randomizer when resuming games. - Fix a rare bug loading some map themes.
