Arrange the tiles so that their sides match each other in colors. Your task is to arrange the tiles correctly so that each side of them is the same color as the adjacent tiles. When the tiles are properly arranged, black lines appear between them. After Cubether, it's another game where I explore minimalism. There are no tutorials or tips in it. You have to understand each mechanic for yourself and use it to solve puzzles. Good luck. :)
OK
I finally finished Lines On Sides. Level 29 is much too difficult, in fact, it’s the hardest one because the mechanic is hard to understand. If it had been possible to skip that level and go back to it after getting a better understanding of how the sliding mechanic works, I probably would not have spent many many hours solving level 29 and getting very frustrated in the process. It took me at least 5 times longer to solve level 29 than it did to complete all the other puzzles. Many developers force you to solve puzzles in sequence. I have never liked this approach. If developers allowed puzzles to be skipped and retried later there would be fewer frustrated players who dislike their game. Being able to completely forget what you have already tried because you’ve been analyzing something new, while gaining more experience in the process, allows the player to use a fresh approach when retrying a puzzle they have skipped.
HUH???
I enjoyed Cubether but I can’t figure out how the mechanic works when you have to shift the colors between tiles in this game. I understand you wanted to make another minimalist puzzler without a tutorial but this color shifting thing is not self explanatory. I even asked my husband to take a look to see if he could understand what’s going on with the color shifting and he couldn’t either. Sorry, but I cannot give this game a good review. I have spent hours trying to solve number 29. My husband and I are not stupid people but we found your hint unhelpful and I’ve had enough frustration trying to do one puzzle. Either put a walkthrough up on YouTube so frustrated people like me can get past number 29 or don’t have the game structured such that the player can’t skip a level. I see in the reviews that some people managed to solve number 29 but a lot of the reviews have complained that they don’t understand the mechanic even with your hint. I do not recommend this game if I can only try 29 of the 51 levels.
Level 23
So annoying and no logic. Can’t get past this level. Will give up whole game if something doesn’t get fixed with this very confusing mechanic
No Hint Feature
It gets frustrated not having any hint feature. I was stuck on level 23rd for long time.
Fun at first
And then the new mechanic comes in and I just don’t get it, even with the in game explanation. I got to level 23 and gave up. I understand that the developer wants to let us figure it out, and I enjoy a lot of other puzzle games with no instructions, but this is not fun anymore. Bummed.
Smiley Face
I completed all 51 levels. Great puzzle game. #29, 39 were tough!
Needs navigation
Difficult and intriguing puzzle, needs navigation to see progress. I’m up to level 50. How many levels are there?
