Last Horizon is a minimal, atmospheric space survival & exploration game, set to deep ambient music. Pilot the last vessel of a fallen civilization into the vast unknown, in search of a new habitable world. Carefully land on the planets you will encounter to gather terraforming resources and space-faring human survivors for the final destination... skillful piloting and the balanced management of fuel, oxygen & hull integrity are key. Gather enough to create a beautiful and harmonious new world, but take too much and you might incur the wrath of sentient alien life. Unexpected difficulty ramp
The first few hours of playing this were hilarious: I died instantly, every time. Even though I “understood” the gravity mechanic, I couldn’t quite get the rhythm down. A couple days later I started again and this time everything just flowed. Absolutely recommended.
a modern asteroid, with a monument valley/indie asthetic
The game is very simple, it reminds me a lot of asteroids, but with better physics and a few different mechanics. For the price it’s well worth it!
Not really exciting and too limited to be thoughfl
The game looks like, and the music sounds like, it should be a strategy game, but the Oxygen and Fuel meters drain quickly in the manner of an action game. However, it is not exciting enough to be an action game.
When they say MINIMAL, they mean VERY MINIMAL
Maybe save your $5 and buy a friend a beer, it’ll be more interesting than this game.
Good Game
For the price its not bad. I basically wanted something to kill time when I need a break from stuff. It’s like asteroids but with an objective. You use thrusters to land and avoid stuff. Nice graphics and sound. It can be frustrating that you can’t save during a mission.. you have to complete it or start over so you repeat and repeat. Wish it had lasers so I could blast some terries and stuff.
