Kingdom Clash：Medieval Defense

I love this game. It’s easy to start out with but the quality on the battles and units such as infantry archers are not that good please improve on this in leader updates.

It’s rare for games to not be pay to win these days. This one has the option obviously but it’s not needed. It’s not full of ads either. It’s only if you want to triple your coins. Would be 5 stars but it takes forever to get more troops. And when you do they’re mostly 1 star.

After playing for close to a year, I’m unfortunately over this game. I’ve concluded that I can no longer feel good about any part of this game unless I spend money to get gud. But one purchase in this game can be as costly as a PS5 game…why?? $5/day to remove ads?? $80 to buy units?? Why?!? I watched every single ad possible every time! I feel I’ve given the company more money than some people who’ve actually done in-game purchases. Yet, the in-game purchases are so flippin expensive I doubt anybody spends more than $20/month and that would get you next to nothing anyhow. The boss battles are a joke and the actions you can do during battle are pointless. The rewards from this are given the next day usually and a handful of diamonds and $100k gold feels like a gut punch because it’s not even enough to buy a 4-star unit, which costs $120k. 300 diamonds is just over 2 spins at the wheel, but unless you’re getting and stacking up the x2 multiplier cards there’s not much else to win…except for the garbage $15k gold spin, which the wheel lands on more often than it should. Heroes are the newest addition, but feel super underpowered. I don’t even think Merida’s (Bow lady) special does damage and she seems to miss a lot anyway, but her, horse guy, and long axe dude are the only characters you get from the wheel so they’ll be the higher level ones before too long. After level 6 good luck getting them to higher levels. 1.5 million gold to level up a hero by like 5% is just an absolute joke. PvP is a lost cause, I have to fight people who have at least 100,000 power less than me in order to win and still get swept even at 575,00 power and fighting a 400,000 power army. So army power seems to be the weakest variable in a battle, even if your army’s formation is similar to the other person’s. It’s like the devs want you to feel weak so you go to the store and buy something, but I’m not ready to take out a second mortgage on my house just to afford this game. I REALLY want to like this game, it’s such an awesome idea! $120,000k to buy a 4-star unit starts feeling ridiculous the longer you play. You CANT buy a unit with a higher star than 4, so you’re just buying 4-star units and getting random types all the time so you might get a lava golem once this week and another next week so you won’t see newer units in your formation for a couple of weeks. Again, since you can’t buy a unit over level 4-stars, once you get to where I was it literally takes days often times weeks to get a single unit up to par with my other 9-star+ units. When you get a new unit you have the immediate one-time option to buy 10+ more of this unit in order to merge it to a higher level, but it costs $50 sometimes $80!!! Nothing feels rewarding…ever. Even the wheel of fortune lands on $15k, the worst of the rewards, way too often to be “luck” driven. Mini-games: Library feels pointless. You get very minor rewards and you hit a difficulty wall pretty quickly anyway. Conquests should be removed from the game entirely, I doubt anybody has gotten passed level 5. Just way way too much swiping and tapping to ultimately get nothing in return. Headhunts are the only decent way to get gold, but be prepared to watch (20) 30 second ads and the battles barely last 10 seconds so get ready for a game of watching ads…the ads triple your winnings so you kinda have to watch them in order to get money. Fusion temple: Sacrifice 3 cards to get the next tier quality, with a very small chance to get a unit with a slightly higher level. Garbage. Summary: Reduce costs of units and allow me to buy more than just 1-4 star level units… PvP is absolutely rigged Normal battles are worthless Heroes are worthless Mini-games are boring and not rewarding Wheel of fortune, not terrible but seems to land on $15k gold about 1 in 3 spins. Store prices are more than 10x what I’m comfortable paying for.
