Bug Fixes after new update 04/27
EDIT: The game is flawless and I love the new quests. The snakes are not permanent and will leave when you complete tasks. The bugs were a simple fix, they just basically fixed themselves, just refresh the game. They upgraded the accessibility of the fishing rod and camera . LOVE LOVE LOVE. The game calms me. I updated the game today but I was trying to take pictures of the new birds and every time I used the camera the game froze. I also tried using the net to catch bugs but it froze again. It’s seems like I can’t do anything. I don’t like the new snake addition. sometimes I don’t see them and get bit which takes away from the calming experience of the game. I also was stuck because I had to go up the stairs and the snake was on the stairs and wouldn’t move. Also I miss the little buttons on the bottom right of the screen where I can easily use the camera and fishing rod. I was trying to find a report bug button but I couldn’t find one so I’m writing this review. I really liked the game but I really don’t like the snakes

Like many Apple Arcade games, this is one of the most poorly programmed pieces of software I have used over the last thirty years of my life. I have never seen an application on a closed ecosystem fail so many times and not be awarded a multimillion dollar contract, so at least that checks. In addition to endless crashes for any and all reasons, this clumsily and crumby-ly cannot handle cloud saving and constantly prompts the user in the middle of gameplay to pick which save file is current; that’s YOUR job. Infuriating and definitely not relaxing. Apparently one of the intended minigames is “hope you tapped on what you want”. Very strange addiction-minded game design choices such as being unable to hold down an action to complete it and constant re-prompting like the beginning tutorial of a game. This was clearly originally designed with microtransactions in mind.

I love it it’s calm, it’s peaceful, and it gets you going. I am a BIG Japanese fan and this game is… it’s like your in Japan your self! It reminds me of driving through the country but at the same time reminds of D.C.. this i̲s̲ my new favorite game. I love that you have to clean, sleep, and work! Sometimes you can go to beautiful festivals and play games and well… everything about it! If you are looking for a calm peaceful game this might be the one. -Kaelyn (BIG FAN OF GAME)

I had a problem with the most recent update on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, where my character would freeze up after selecting a tool. And I reached out to the very friendly, helpful and nice developer of this game and he fixed the problem I had the very next day. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you so, so much for replying to my email so quickly and especially for putting out a fix for my problem so quickly as well. I’m immensely grateful and thankful and I just wish all game developers were as helpful, responsive and caring as you are. Again, I highly recommend this game and I believe it’s one of the best and most relaxing video games I’ve played in forever and it’s just a whole bunch of fun too. Plus you get to learn about Japanese leisure activities and culture. I dig this game a ton and play it every morning when I wake up. I’ve really liked and respected Japanese culture and entertainment for a long time now and this game is such a great look into a Japanese vacation setting. The only hard part of the this game is me getting myself to stop playing, haha. I keep playing and then find that it’s been an hour or so. Time just flew by with all the fun here. It’s neat too that you can rescue a puppy. Many thanks to the creator/creators of this title.
