Hiding Spots is a puzzle game and brain trainer in one. Inspired by the groundbreaking research of Professor Reuven Feuerstein, the theories behind the game have been shown through the years to increase IQ in children and adults alike. Your objective in Hiding Spots is simple: just find shapes hidden in a jumble of spots. But it's not as easy as it seems. To succeed, you will need to develop the mental agility to rotate and resize the shapes in your head, while ignoring distractions like color and form. The spots are literally hiding in plain sight! The company behind Hiding Spots, The Mental Faculty, is renowned for developing the most advanced study apps on iPhone and iPad. Hiding Spots is their first foray into brain training games.
Excellent collection of puzzles adapted from research about learning
Task: locate a target pattern within “noisy” background. E.g., in 3rd screenshot, locate corners of a square and corners of an equilateral triangle. Feedback is given for each selection of a candidate spot: red=NO, yellow=YES; green=PatternFound. Solve at your own pace — no timing to hurry your thinking (and reflection about that). Groups of puzzles can be repeated.
