Glitchy and def requires $$
Nostalgia for sure from the great PC games of old. While this game is on the right track with the battles and fighters, it lacks quality that you would hope for. It also requires you to spend money on gems to even participate in 40% of the game (I.e 40% of each campaign level is blocked and requires escalating gems to unlock). A bit glitchy on the map movement as well. Also, I played daily for several weeks straight and only unlocked 1 heroe. The game is suppose to be about the heroes, hence the title. The final straw was I purchased 2 packages which were never delivered; waist of money. I’d play again, but only if improvements were made and $ was emphasized as much to participate.

I enjoyed my first 5-6 hours on this game. The exploration is fun, even though a lot of it is locked off behind gems. Per usual, you can play the long game on dailies, or just buy your way in. However, the Arena is horrible. Arenas 1-5 are pretty easy to beat your way through. 6 regularly gives you impossible-to-beat opponents, and it becomes normal in Arena 7. Skill in team building and strategy don’t matter, just getting the right opponent, and RNG on extra hits and crits.

I would like to imply that all is lost here but I can’t. Thus a single star, bestowed to a very buggy game that belongs to beta testing lack. It’s reminiscent of the amazing genre of Might and Magic, as most of not all of the armies resemble those, done with less artfulness and detail. It’s hard to distinguish if these developers were honoring the original, or simply stealing from it. It’s of course pay to play, so I did purchase some packages, but did not receive any of the package purchased. After just a couple of money losses, the decision was made to delete the app.

Ahh the heroes 3 days. This version is a good start at an engaging game. It seems a bit too fast progress at the start, and near arena 9 the rubber banding is brutal and strategy takes A back seat to rng. You can’t win unless you get a lucky draw on the computer opponent. If there were real player enemies it could be interesting. What I would really like is a way to progress without just waiting for free ad items. Refighting for exp seems to be unhelpful, as the arena enemies seem to just rubber band and match your hero level. More game depth and content could help solve this.
