Don’t even call it a sequel
I’ve played GK nearly every day since it came out in 2016. So when I saw GK OVE, I had to check it out, especially since the devs pretty much abandoned the original earlier this year. My excitement was short lived. How could they take the original and turn it into this Girls X Battle wannabe? The level of strategy is dumbed down to just an arbitrary power level. At least in GK, your team configuration and choices either were a real benefit or detriment to who you were facing. So someone at level 98 could possibly be beaten by someone at level 84 if they chose the right team. Leveling up in OVE is overly complicated and is more of a chore when compared to other gachas. It says that the story is a continuation from GK, but there is almost no pick up from the previous title. It’s boring and unoriginal. For being a sequel, they brought over I think 2-3 of the entire GK roster. I’m all for new pilots but for a sequel, you would think and maybe expect to bring over some of the main characters or fan favorites. E-Young? Cecilia?Emily? Rose? Even Rachel,, the narrator of the whole game? Nope, we get weird incarnations of Tsubasa and Petra. Of course they can add as the game goes on, but this still doesn’t make up for the boring gameplay, boring story, and insufferable grind even among F2P gacha games. This is a hard pass. You’ll find me still playing the original GK, which is much better even without dev support than this game. Edit: then they completely shutter the original GK. Wow, just wow. Huge disappointment. Join me following a newer gacha dev, Shift Up. Destiny Child Global is dope, super friendly to F2P players. Also Nikke Goddess of Victory is looking amazing too.

Do I need to explain why? This game literally has AMAZING graphics and has anime cutscenes and the girls power ups/ special moves are animated too! Now I’m picturing every anime game with animated cutscenes too. Who WOULDN’T download this game?

I like the game and I have been playing it everyday but the one thing I cannot seem to like is the pvp battles because with the current level of my ove’s I just cannot win they are impossible for my team and the only way that I can win one is by pure luck but still a great game Also it’s sad that I don’t have any of the other event characters like the one from doa and I feel like you should do a rerun of them

I’ve been playing this game even since Mai came out, and I’ve recruited 151 times to get Jun, the previous O.V.E, and I’ve gotten Mai 2 times (technically 3 times because every 100 times you recruit you get that O.V.E) and Suseri 1 time. About 70-80 times I’ve recruited I didn’t get a 4 star O.V.E, I know it’s not guaranteed but how bad is my luck? I spent 50 tickets all at once and obviously, the highest I got was a 3 star. I want Jun so desperately so I keep on recruiting but I have failed to get her and i was like,, a day late to get her and Mai became the next O.V.E. I’ve honestly considered deleting this game because of this AND the next OVE is going to be in 6 days and I don’t think I’ll be able to get Jun because I don’t have easy access to tickets and diamonds because I’m kind of stuck in the game.
