No defense and training bots are too strong
The training bots are way too hard for beginners and the game rarely give defensive items please actually fix this

Everyone gets the same “deck”, there are no cross-game buffs, nothing to do but have fun and try to improve your ranking. Use Practice mode to get a feel for the game, then go to Royal Duel to see how others play the game. I’ve easily got >1000 games played between my phone and iPad.

Can’t update my old review for some reason, but ads now only happen every ~4-5 games. Much more bearable. Would still like an IAP/subscription option to remove completely.

It’s free but ads are very annoying. They all have audio and will pause whatever I’m playing in the background. Most of the ads themselves are also really obnoxious and often risqué. (I blame age targeting for “late 20s”.) I’d like to leave a better review but the longer this app goes without IAP or subscription to remove them, the lower the stars go. Everyone gets the same deck, no “buffs” or anything between matches, we’re all on the same playing field. It’s up to the hand you’re dealt and the way you play it. There’s nothing to collect or plan for long-term. Start with training to get the hang of it, and go to Royal Duel to play competitively. Just a simple presentation, simple game, and a fun time. (I’ve easily played over 1000 matches over the past few months.)

Once you familiarize yourself with the deck you begin to understand how to play your cards smartly. The points system for ranks is somewhat flawed, but all around a wonderful game. I play for hours!
