Good app but could be better

I like and use the app a lot with my adult developmentally disabled adults. I use it for phonics as well as discussing feelings. I do wish there were some more vocabulary words though. It would have 5 stars if it provided more vocabulary (i.e., hungry, thirsty, tired, etc.).

Feelings

Characters do not display clear emotions and are not animated. My 3 year old was not interested at all.

A great app mixing spelling with concepts of emotion

This is a great app. The fit and finish are top notch. Works fine on my ipad 1s and iphones (3gs, 4, 4s). My 5 yr old autistic son likes First Words Feelings very much. I see him running this app all the time. It's tough for autistic children to express themselves, as well as to identify the feelings of others. I really appreciate the effort made by the developer to help children understand how to recognize and verbalize the emotions of themselves and others. Thanks!!
