I’m a big fan of Friday and Friedmann’s games in general, but I hadn’t enjoyed my physical copy of Finished that much until I played this app. Now it makes perfect sense. This is a total solitaire killer. Amazing game, very well implemented.

There are a lot of card games on the App Store. It’s hard to sort the good ones out from the bad ones. I recently played Friday, from the same maker. It was a lot of fun. I decided to get this one on a whim, and why not, it was free. And I wasn’t disappointed. The game involves a lot of strategy, is single player, and it easy to pick up. Highly Recommend this little gem. Also check out the other stuff. All really fun games.

Very soothing game for me… acting as a human sorting machine trying to optimize the sorting to complete before the coffee runs out! A nice feature is to let you continue even after the coffee runs out just to play it through. One minor bug with a card overlay otherwise a great solo game.

I have been playing a lot of this on my spare time when at work and sometimes at home too, but I have the actual card game itself for home. Anyways: this is a convenient little time killer and I’m glad this app was made because this is a good game for such a small package. If anyone was skeptical that this would be a poorly-made app, let this review be the deciding factor. Finished is a solo card game by Friedemann Friese, who also developed and released the solo deck-building game “Friday”. (Which I also recommend that as well) Finished is all about sorting a deck of 48 cards into numerical order, but the catch is: You have 7 cups of coffee, which act as a timer and 7 sweets in your stash, as well as 3 in reserve. You can spend sweets on abilities on cards to make the sorting faster and easier. If you get at least 3 cards in numerical order at once, you get one sweet for each card, minus 1. The Number 48 card requires you consume a cup of coffee and if you don’t manage to sort all the cards before you drank all your coffee, you fall asleep at your desk and it’s game over. What’s cool about the cards is: each card contributes to a flip book short movie, which is enjoyable to watch every time I get Finished! Overall: if you got half an hour to an hour to kill, this is definitely one that needs to be in your library of mobile games.
