Description
Classic dice game companion
Fark yes! No more paper, no more scorecards; we’ll do the math for you. Plus, our fun graphics and sound effects will help you keep up with the game.

Nothing beats the sound and feel of dice rolling along a hard surface, but keeping score was always a bit dicey. Keep the game analog while enjoying the benefits of digital scorekeeping.

Farkle Scorekeeper features includes:

• tracking players’ turns
• showing who’s in the lead
• building a directory of players
• logging player’s highest roll

Customize your farkle experience with bonus features like:

• "3 consecutive farkles" mode - you control the amount of points to deduct from players who roll three farkles in a row. Watch as the heat turns up each time the farkle hits.

• "6 dice farkle" mode - players can receive up to 500 pity points for every six dice farkle they roll.

• "Winning score" control - only have time for a short game? You can set the winning score to 5,000 and play half the points while keeping the full winning experience.

You can customize Farkle Scorekeeper for other games, too! Just switch out of farkle mode and you’re good to go. Put in the points and our app will tally your game up for you.

Bummed about premium

The premium version is lacking grid mode which is the best way to keep score. Really bummed I paid for it now, would love to see that feature come back.

We like the app!

The app has been a fun way to play scores and keep track of our progress. I am unclear though on how the highest roll stat is getting calculated in the hall of fame and shame. For at least two of our top three “highest rollers” I am not finding any game where the total for “highest” roll is collected. Is it adding multiple different high rolls over a particular number? What is it calculating it with? For example it says a player has a highest roll of 5300. We interpret that as one player kept getting lucky during their round of dice rolling and finishing with 5300 to bank to their score. However, in looking through the saved game logs we do not find that player as having rolled that 5300. The closest was a game where that player rolled a 2000, 2450, and a 1050 all in one game. Which combined would be 5500, but that is over three separate scoring rounds not all in one. Also I am unclear what the section that counts ones fives, triples etc. We only play the physical Farkle game and when using the score tracker, there is no way to say how you got the score. Just to report the results. Any help explaining this would be appreciated. Is it possible that for the highest score player there was a game that was deleted and the score still is tracked? Thanks!

Pointlessly difficult to use

I installed this before we sat down to play. We rolled to see who goes first and it wasn't the first person I'd entered, so when I tapped their name to enter their score, a color chooser popped up?! But I already selected a color. Why is it asking me again? I tried to drag the names in the order we were starting, but I couldn't drag to rearrange the names. I couldn't figure out how to enter their score, so I gave up and we got the pen and paper out. This app should be easier to use and not be so finicky. Tutorial? An app with such limited functionality should not need a tutorial. This app is simply poorly designed. All it has to do after entering players is let you enter numbers and add it to their scores. That's the baseline functionality. Anything else is nice, but it should not get in the way of that basic feature. Want to enter scores in a different order? Tap the player and enter the score. Don't get in the way. Want to let users move the players? Every other iOS app, that's a tap-hold and drag. Want to let them tweak a player color mid-game? Swipe to the left and tap settings on that player. This app is simply poorly designed. I recommend "keep score" instead. It's GUI has a better UX. And it doesn't get in the way of the user.

App crashed after being purchased

I purchased the app and used it once before it crashed. As of writing this review, it still is not back. Nice waste of money!!
