A decent platformer...
Admit it, it’s just a Mario clone with a projectile ability slapped onto it. You break blocks by jumping under them, and some of them have a power-up that increases the size of the character. I guess the graphics aren’t that bad, but being able to open a shop mid-game and buy lives or bullets raises some concerns. I think being able to do so ruins the “classic experience” that you’re attempting to achieve. It would’ve made more sense to only be able to have access to it between levels. If anything, this whole shop thing is completely unnecessary for a platforming game of all things, and seems more like a cash grab. The character moves too slow, and doesn’t have much ways to maneuver through stages, making the gameplay feel sluggish. The music isn’t very good, and gets annoying after awhile. While it’s not a mediocre attempt at the platforming genre, it can use MANY improvements.
