Time waster? More like waste of time.
This game encompasses most of what is wrong with the flood of idle “rpg”s. After a half hour and stage 70, the tutorial is still ongoing with half of the tutorial missions being filler ‘kill x monsters’. Next we’ve got the drop rates, by stage 70 you’ll have used your 5 free time-locked summons, the 5 free premium summons, the free ticket summon, and another 5 premium summons from gems. Under normal circumstances the bulk summons would guarantee a higher rank summon, not this game no. Those 16 summons were all C and B grade, I don’t even know what dragons in specific because the eggs take hundreds of stages to hatch. Finally, at its core this is an idle collector, nothing more. But since it has the barest hints of a story we can slap the rpg tag on it, oh right we can arrange our dragons for minimal effect so there’s the strategy tag, the story also implies adventure so let’s toss that tag on for good measure as well so we can cast the widest net possible regardless if it’s accurate. At the end of the day this game is nothing more than a mass produced cash grab gacha with the veneer of dragons. It’s not an rpg. It’s not an adventure. Strategy boils down to whomever has the most expendable income. And idle? It’s only an idle game in the sense that everything takes time from seeing what you spent your money on to clearing the tutorial.

The game looks great and the combat is cool. The thing that got me was that you have to pay $4 for autobattling. This is a feature that I feel should be free. It was pretty much the reason that I got the game in the first place.

Beyond my expectations. Its as if Dragon village New gained the revamp it deserves and now with the beautiful dragons we love and adore and the art that leaves us in awe.

As the title says, it’s better than that other dragon idle game despite having similar formatting/gameplay style. Treats newcomers better bc we get to have longer boosts/charges in an hour or more for my obtained dragons. At least the dragons don’t need to much materials to upgrade. The animation and art are really smooth and detailed.
