I don’t have a load or continue game option. just start new. i looked up a walkthrough to see what i was doing wrong and their menu has writing on the lamp and clock- quit game and continue game. My screen does not have writing on either of these. please help me i was to continue my game!

Needs a help or hint function. Many of the actions are not at all intuitive and I'm finding myself resorting to YouTube walkthroughs way too often. Right now I'm stuck in a dialog with the taxi driver and no matter what I do I can't get out of it. I've watched walkthroughs and repeated the exact same steps, but it doesn't work and he just keeps shooting at me.

Adventure, point-&-click and escape games are my favorites. And there aren’t many to choose from in the App Store. This game, Detective Gallo, was a lot of fun... cute storyline...lovely artwork...awesome voice actors .. & groovy background music. Definitely high-quality and a lot of effort and expertise went into this game. But..it’s a challenge! If you pay attention to every character, everything they say, each scene/area, interact with characters every time a new step is completed, take notes...then all the puzzles do make sense. So if you enjoy challenging games that make you work for every step of the way...this is a great game to try! But, IMHO the lower star reviews are likely to some minor quirks which could be potential frustrations for some. All of which could easily be corrected for any future game releases: 1) There are no in game hints ...just objectives. What needs to happen next is sometimes hidden within dialogue so it’s easy to miss/confuse what to do next. 2) Most interactions would not activate until a prerequisite step was accomplished...which forces the gameplay into a strict linear process. (Example: why can’t we dip the rose in the rose scent before dialogue activating telling us what we need?) 3) The inventory bar interface was clunky..so grabbing items to try them on other items/scene was tedious. And trying the old “tap-item-tap-scene” blind tapping was extra frustrating 4) There are many objects that can be looked at but not interacted with. But some will activate after completing a required step..but some don’t.(I wasted a lot of time trying to get that darn baseball bat lol) An example of #2 above: needing to pick up the mold in the dump. We have no idea what we need to do. Spent a long time looking for gloves, lol. Eventually talked to the worker and a new dialogue option popped up...with even another step required Lastly... One reviewer complained about the taxi driver and I’d have to agree that was the one spot I needed the WT Spoiler: When the taxi driver had the baobab gun pointed at you...look/click on the truck in the distance (remember there was dialogue about him robbing a money truck.) The taxi guy looks away from you. Quickly open inventory and grab/click gun and click on taxi driver. (Clunky inventory makes it awkward!) He will drop the baobab gun and leave

Keeps crashing after the intro sequence. I’ve re-downloaded at least ten times, freed up space even though I had plenty, and after consulting the internet it appears they had this problem with the PC version as well. I’ve been wanting to play this game for a while but it’s such a let down. Will be requesting a refund.
