Pretty fun but then it costs
Up to level 10 it was fun. Took several tries to win each level. At level ten the only way to win that I could find was to pay. Pay for health, pay for weapons. Mo money mo money mo money. No thanks.

This was working just fine until the latest 'bug fix' now it crashes my mac mini every time I try and load it. Not sure if it is the new Mac OS (Monterey 12.3.1) or the 'bug fix' ... but save your money, it dont work, hopefully they will fix it

While the first two levels are rather easy, I have been stuck on the third map for many days because I have not bought any coins to access higher level weapons. So be prepared to put more money into this game unless you are an expert game player.
United StatesDeveloper Gold Mine, but fun
The developers have played the perfect "bait and switch” with this game. The original games (Defense Zone 1&2) were beautiful to look at, interesting, challenging and fun. That was before you required in game purchases. This last version (DZ3 Ultra HD) was extremely difficult but playable…at first. However your latest update featuring, Mission 16, 17, 18. 19, 20, 21 are impossible to play unless you load up, really load up on developer crafted special weapons which of course require "in app purchases." Still not a bad experience, except your code or algorithims or what ever you use for in game adjustments have noticeably weakened the offense power of the defenses and overloaded the hit point values of the enemy armies making them extremely difficult to destroy. And your crafted special weapons - which you pay for again and again, are less than effective to achieve their destructive purposes. But they are very effective in sending funds into your coffers. You have that right as game developers, but your don’t have the right to “rip-off” your customers with impossible scenarios on the EASY level I would’t give you any stars if I could but I do defer to your previous excellent DZ 1&2 versions where you weren’t so greedy to create a game that required a pot of money next to you to win on the EASY level. Also for the amount of in app purchases you require to even be competitive on the EASY level, you should attend to the freezing of he tower selection which is still occurring. But over all, a very challenging TD game. Just don't expect to win too often and keep your gold coins handy for the developers.

I'm was pretty good at Defense Zone 2. Completely all levels with full health after some serious strategic thinking and really enjoyed it. Would have happily paid triple for a good fun playable version instead of a game that wants to nickle and dime you so you can finish a level.

I have gotten all of the series; Apple and PC as well. Great graphics, good weapon mix, easy to play, fun to try different techniques with. Highly recommend!
