The new, engaging levels are even more stunning and impressive. New weapons have been added, along with new opponents, and even more action and tactics. The game supports four languages: English, Russian, French and German. The game settings are balanced to meet the goals of different players. If you want to test your skills and strategy, you can play the difficult level. If you are just playing for fun, then choose easy or medium level. Greater variety of weaponry and landscape types gives you huge freedom in choosing your battle tactics. Choose the right weapon type and position to make sure your defense is effective. Airstrikes and the possibility of temporarily increasing weapon power can give you the advantage, and guarantee you will never get bored in the battle process.
The best of the Defense Zone games
This is an excellent game that is fun to play, and is not designed (like Defense Zone 3) to force the user to buy things just to survive. This game can be very challenging, however, so it is both fun and challenging. The graphics are very good.

First, I love the game. It's really fun. Love love love. Few things I wish were improved. The battle scene doesn't all fit on my mac, no matter what resoluion I use. I wish at least the arrow keys could move the map up and down. More importantly, each time I open the game, I am taken to the apple DZ2 website which links me to the App Store WHICH IS HOW I HAVE TO START THE GAME EACH TIME! Suggestions, At the end of the successful battle, Female voice should say " Mission Accomplished" or something like that, rather than silence. Also, please put a hover state above each weapon at the bottom of the screen saying what the weapon is. Thank.. Charlie

Level 1 seems great - but I bought this game and cant get to Level 2. If there were instructions I would have a better idea of what I am doing wrong.

Defense zone 2 is what Defense zone should have been in the first place and seems a little like an updated version of the first game. It does boast new maps, some cool new weapons and updated graphics and animations. This is better on my iPad than on my iMac. The pathing isn't always on spot and some of the maps are a little off on this version. Plus it's kind of hard to place towers sometimes in the heat of battle, so you find yourself pausing the game to place a tower or two during hectic times. It's exactly like the first game, as far as gameplay goes. If you've played any Tower Defense (TD) games, you'll be right at home. It's fairly strait forward TD fun! It is a good and solid game. I have never had any issues of crashing or anything for that matter. The additions and new towers make a huge difference! My iMac specs are: i5 Quad-Core 3.1GHZ, ADM Radeon HD 6970M with 1GB video RAM, 4GB system RAM, running OS X 10.6.8. This also runs fine on my PowerBook, Duo-Core 2.6GHZ, 256GB video RAM, 4GB, OS X 10.6.8. EDIT: TY so much for giving the Mortar & Tornado a 20% damage increase, as well as the new map!!! This game is so AWESOME!!! Changed my rating to 5 STARS!!! :-) Great support!

Everything about this game is well done. The graphics are nice, the audio is excellent, and the developer has updated it a few times since I bought it several months ago, adding a few levels, tweaking others, and fixing bugs. They do a far better job keeping their customers happy than some other developers whose software I've paid for but ended up not using because of various technical issues.

Looks like the dev took care of the issues and version 1.2.1 works great. The game itself is outstanding. It will provide hours & hours of entertainment AND replay ability. Graphics are superb, but the sound is INCREDIBLE. I suggest headphones to see what I mean. The mortars rumble and explosions make me smile. MacBook Air 1.7Ghz | 10.8.4
