Guess community boards and boost your “guesser” rating. How high can you get your rating? Invite some friends and play asynchronously on your own devices. Get your bestie on board with the 2-player game or get the whole crew involved and play the original 4-player (2 against 2) game. For both, the objective is to select all of your partner’s cards on the grid. For 4-player, try to guess all your team’s cards before the other team. Beware of the Death Card—if this is guessed the game is automatically over and your team loses! Compete in the Daily Guesser from various other CleverWords games. Guess all 4 right and keep up your streak!
Doesn’t seem to work well
I was excited that everyone here says this is almost the same as playing code names. However, when I try to join a game. It doesn’t let me. The only thing the app lets me do is play the daily guesses. 😫

I really like that there are lots of different ways to play. I do the Daily Guesser every day and find it’s fun to build a “friend” list to see how I do against other regulars. Some on my list are truly people I know but others are just people who I’ve found who do well consistently and I’ve added them to my friend list (they have no idea, I’m sure). Playing Quick Play involves using different strategies. It’s a chance to stretch more and use looser associations when clue setting. And Two Player games are a chance to also stretch a little, to see if you can complete a board in 3 or 4 turns. Still my favorite are the classic 2 against 2 games(4 player). Some people play their turn pretty quickly and others let days go by (which is unfortunate). All are so much fun!

I tried both two player and four player random match. The buttons don’t work to match with a random person. You either have to make a private game or don’t play.

I used to absolutely love this game! It’s so fun to play with friends and family. The new update, however, took away the feature to play with strangers! I used to be able to join a game as a setter or guesser and it would wait to put me in a game until it could find other players. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they took this part of the game away. It was so fun to play with others especially when my friends weren’t available. Please add this back. No clue why you would take it away! Also, the ads are getting ridiculous. There are way too many.

I liked the game Codenames but this app won’t let me click on a word when it’s my turn. N sometimes it deletes all the words that a teammate clicked already…. To many issues.
