This game should be pulled from the App Store. It hasn’t been updated in over 3 years so good luck getting help or responses. I also have never seen a game made so impossible to progress without spending money. You absolutely cannot upgrade towers any further without coins. How do you get coins? Spending gems. How do you get gems? Spend real money. They expect you to grind the same stuff each day, including missions on levels that even the game warns you is too powerful for your level of progress. This game is a scam.
United StatesFun but Gold system unaddressed for years
As noted by people 5 years ago plus, the game starts out great but then around level 80 it starts to become impossible to earn enough gold to keep hero’s and towers updated and the developers refuse to address this issue. I don’t mind paying a bit here and there but to top it off the gold purchase prices are laughably high and would still only help for a handful of levels before being stuck again. I understand in needing to make money off the game but it needs to be reasonable or players like me will just go elsewhere.

Would be nice if the ads wouldn’t freeze, I don’t mind watching them to gain more rewards, but literally every “liftoff” ad freezes or never loads, and sometimes you see the count down and when pressing the X to close the ad and get back to the game, it says “video failed”, yet I did nothing to prevent the ad from loading or playing. On top of that, if I watch an ad after beating a new level, I have no idea if I gained the regular rewards because I had to force close the game because it’s now stuck on an ad.

TD Creeps has a fun fantasy setting, pretty graphics, and the game mechanics are easy to master. I wish it were easier to farm gold. You can watch ads to get more chests to open, and to a tiny extent farm a few gems and a little bit of gold. But you rapidly get to a point where you can’t upgrade heros or towers because there’s no gold to be had without spending real money. That makes this game problematic for children or other people who succumb to the compulsion.

It’s a very fun tower defense game with some characters and a bit of story to keep you entertained. Getting gold though, a cheap commodity of the game, and gets to be nearly impossible. I’ve opened three knights chests and one Lord chest with no gold. I’ve hit a wall were advancing is nearly impossible without paying. I’m stubborn, but I seriously recommend that you don’t even get started.

I played this game several years ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. I played for over a year and had my towers and heroes ranked up and retired at the top of my game. I saw an ad while in an airport terminal and downloaded it once again for nostalgia’s sake. It initially was the same. Then I realized I would earn and open chest after chest with no gold. Purchased two Lord’s chests with gems and a measly 6000 coins for my effort. The game that used to be fun and fair has become cynical and greedy. I’m currently in that, I’m still playing to see if things will change, mode. But the writing is on the wall for my involvement with this game.
