Witness the craziest camel race of all time, as things really go topsy-turvy when camels stack up and entire pyramids turn upside down. As members of Egyptian high society, you gather in the desert with one simple goal: to gain the most money by backing the right camel to win a leg or even the entire race. However, in this race, it’s not just the lucky ones who can beat the odds. Reading the dynamics of the race and having a good sense of timing is just as important when it comes to backing the right camels and taking the victory. CAMEL UP is a simple, quick, and outrageously exciting family game that can be enjoyed by up to 8 players. - Highly detailed graphics in Retina resolution - Easy start into the game - Single player mode - Exciting multiplayer mode for up to 8 players - Computer opponents in 3 difficulty levels - Local highscores - Game-Center connection
Good try, but a miss sadly
I was really happy to see this on the App Store, as we like to buy the iPad version of a board game to try it out before laying out the money for the full physical game. But as per the three thing above, it's missing the target for getting me to buy the desktop game. Warning: Game crashes about half the time I play it. 1- they didn't stick to the board game rules (no points for rolling dice) 2- tutorial doesn't tell you how to play the game 3- the "instructions" are so basic, e.g. they assume you know what the tiles do (oasis or mirage)
No multiplayer. No animation. Low quality effort.
I wanted to try Camel Up board game but I thought I will try the app first but the app appears minimal work was put into it. Was it so hard to animate the camels? Unlike the real life board game, the camels just magically pop onto another or pop into the next square. It looks so awkward. There is no online multiplayer so you’re stuck playing with the computer. If you have no one local to play with then too bad.
Fun quick strategy/luck game
I had never heard of this game before, but I have a couple of the developer’s other games and really like them, so I thought I’d try this too. It’s true, as others have said, that the in-app rules and tutorial are not enough for a new player to understand the depth of how things work, and that sometimes it’s not immediately obvious the results of your choices. But I read a couple of in-depth reviews online and watched a video walkthrough, and that helped me know how to manage the gameplay, it’s not hard once you get the overall concepts. I totally recommend this game for solo play, it’s a fun gambling fix for when you have a few minutes during a work break or something. And there are no ads or IAP, it’s small in file size, and hardly uses battery. I’m glad I tried it!
The tutorial is broken.
Fix it for a better rating, please.
Not Multi-Player Friendly
Currently this game does not support online play, and is not Play & Pass Friendly. ☹️
Don’t work
I purchased but its not downloading 🤔
Can’t play with family without handing phone around
The only way to play with your family is to hand the same phone around to each person for their turn. It is very inconvenient. You can’t see what the person rolled or what they did.
