fun, short experience
You can beat the whole game in about 2 hours. Keep your armies strong and be wise when you pick your battles. Don't worry, running away is certainly better if you don't have the right equipment. This experience reminds me of King's Bounty from 1990's or even castle of the winds. Though it is not as thorough as those old school games.
Very Limited
I would be tempted to call this baby’s first adventure game except most will find it frustrating. You have few choices in where you can move and who you can fight. It is unclear when you can hire troops; just having the money is not enough. Just about the only way to get money is to steal it from defeated opponents. If you are defeated they steal from you making the advice to "hire more troops” to avoid defeat worthless. Essentially once you are defeated the game is over. I liked it for the first few minutes, though.
