Don’t bother
I wrote a review yesterday about how BAD this game has gotten, don’t see it posted. All the reviews are several years old and I assume the developers don’t care or have abandoned this game. Just tried to play a lightening round game, TWICE, and sat for several minutes after finishing my turn with nothing happening for any of the other players, just the annoying background music. So disappointed, this game used to be fun.

Great word game I’ve been playing for over 10 years. Minor glitches, but it’s free so I deal with it. My experience has been nothing like what others have complained about on here. Years ago, I paid a small fee to not see ads anymore and I haven’t seen any since.

This is a great game that I have been playing over 10 years. What I would like to know is if the people who are in the tournaments are real. I suspect they are bots planted by Boggle to keep the tournaments going. No matter what time of day or night I enter the tournaments, the same players are in there. They never win so I suspect Boggle lets you beat these bots. As much as these players are in the tournaments, you would think they would win a game every now and then, nope. Maybe I’m wrong but I have a feeling that Aaron, Marie, Einstein, and Priya aren’t human.

You join a tournament with 8 players including yourself. If there aren’t enough real players to fill up the slots, the game fills those slots with bots. The bots obviously could get every single word, but it uses some janky algorithm to determine its score. Nothing is more infuriating than putting up a bunch of words/ points only to have the bot you are going up against double your score. Especially when every other bot in the tournament scored significantly below my score. Also, who is actually paying for those mega boosts. Cringe.
