Great game!
There’s a lot of bad reviews about the controls but I have barely had any trouble. Sure the path finding is not great sometimes but I never had any real trouble. The game itself is great. The combat mechanics can be confusing at first learning what everything does, but the story kept me going right along because it’s pretty great. I haven’t finished it quite yet, but I have put many hours into it. If you are into turn based combat and decision making RPGs this is a pretty great story so far

And it would have a much higher rating if it weren’t for the slew of 1 stars given by people who don’t understand the “Free Preview / Pay for Full Game” model, which is really baffling/sad to see how some people don’t understand this. Anyways, this game is great! Amazing vibe and atmosphere… extremely dark and spoopy which I love. Very nuanced and complex. Nice intro to an older culture, with its various customs and beliefs - so there’s a bit of a cultural history class going on as well. I was playing the free combat demo then felt compelled to dive into the full version and I’m so glad I did. I’m really just at the beginning, it’s an excellent game with a unique identity - looks very promising! PS thanks for the definitions to the obscure cultural terms, I’d be lost (and rather put off) without them.

The controls are absolutely terrible. The story is poorly written. The graphics are awful. Listen to this. In the story, the main character’s husband kills himself, but the narrator says he can’t remember why. Seems like kind of a big deal, since the rest of the story is based on her struggle to resurrect him. To control the character, you tap on the background, and she very slowly walks off in a random direction. The artwork looks like it was drawn by a child. I wish I could give this 0 stars.

As soon as you start up the game it asks if you want to pay to get through the pay wall to unlock 95% of the game. You get to play mech at all before you have to buy the full game and what you do get to play isn’t very fun at all. In the end just don’t get it.
