The Middle Eastern game of Barjees is now on iOS for the first time! Barjees is a cross and circle-type game similar to Pachisi, Parcheesi and Ludo. Designed to be very realistic with cowry shells and 3D pieces. Bring your traditional Barjees experience digitally to your iPhone and iPad. You can play Barjees in a single player game against the AI or challenge a friend in a two player game.
Great (but not for iPhone)
Great on iPad. Really frustrating to move pips on iPhone…. keep scooting back to starting point.
I like it
I like the simplicity but moving the pieces to the green spots isn’t always easy, it doesn’t detect it fast. I would love to play against real opponents online. Also as a beginner it would be helpful if while playing against the computer if it could give some smart recommendations or suggestions, or maybe have a smart summary at the end rating each move done and what could’ve been a better alternative.(saw this at a chess game app) Great app overall, would love to see an update in the near future.🥰
Help!
I love “Barjees!” However, after a day or so from downloading it, when I open the app to play, I get a black screen and nothing else. When I delete the app then re-download it, I am able to play. Then the following day, it’s the same thing: a black screen. What is going in?
Slow down!
Why are the shells immediately removed after the throw? I want to be able to SEE the shells AND the corresponding score number after each throw. Always keep them both visible until I roll again!
Buggy
I really like this game except for the fact that playing pieces will not always stay where you move them. I have to constantly replay a move to get the piece to stay. Also when two game pieces occupy the same space it is hard to select or move a game piece if one is headed in and one going out. Also the computer opponent get some really fantastic points almost seems unnatural!
Nice
Dast x2 Banj x1 Khal x3 Bara Shake Last number: 2 or 3 or 4
