This game will roll the exact dice it needs for itself and will roll doubles to beat you almost every match. Do not download!!!

This game automatically gives an opponent with a higher win percentage, every roll they need to win. It is ridiculous how every move the lower ranked player makes is automatically countered with the perfect roll of the dice for the higher ranked player. There isn’t any randomness to the roll of the dice. Why play this game, since the outcome is already rigged against you. This causes the game to be unplayable. It is just a terrible game experience.

Non-random dice rolls create extremely unfair and unrealistic gameplay in single player, and a lot of frustration rather than fun. It can (often!) take over 10 rolls to get a roll that is 50/50 (like returning to home row when half of the points are not anchored), while at least 80% of the time the computer opponent gets it on first roll. Crazy to just watch the computer play by itself for 10-20 plays due to extraordinary “luck”

I used to feel this game was fixed on harder levels. It may be, but you can beat the expert level. Takes a different style of play. That said, the dice rolls are clearly not random. Not only does the player way ahead almost always get the exact roll necessary to win or escape, but you almost never (never as far as I can recall) roll doubles twice in a row. Happens with some frequency (calculating the odds is left to you as an exercise) in real backgammon. I suggest the developers look into this bug.

It’s obvious to me Apple could care less about fair play in their gaming. It’s all about the money. Put out a slick interface that draws in the players. Let the bad ones win against the better ones and that keeps them all playing. Everybody gets a trophy these days in the sick and twisted world we live in now. It’s sad that even something as simple as this simulated board game has cheating incorporated into it. That’s ok though. One day the Lord Jesus Christ will return and set all of this right. No more complaining to Apple then. How ironic that it was temptation and the Apple that led to our downfall in the first place. Praise God! He can’t come back soon enough!!
